North Carolina, 36-3, and UCLA, 35-4, have terrific years but fall just short. In the ACC twenty win teams include Duke, 28-6, Clemson, 24-10, Virginia Tech, 21-14, and Miami, 23-11. In the Big 12 Texas, 31-7, Texas A&M, 25-11, Oklahoma, 23-12, Kansas State, 21-12, Baylor, 21-11, and Nebraska , 20-13, make for tough opponents. The beasts of the Big East are Georgetown, 28-6, Louisville, 27-9, Notre Dame, Marquette, West Virginia, and Pittsburgh, have +25 win seasons. Connecticut, Villanova, and Syracuse each top 20 wins. Wisconsin, 31-5, leads the Big Ten. Purdue, 25-9, Indiana, 25-8, Michigan State, 27-9, and Ohio State (NIT Champion), 24-13, keep things competitive. Minnesota goes 20-14. In the PAC 10 Stanford, 28-8, and Washington State, 26-9, try hard to catch the Bruins. USC and Arizona State each win 21. In the SEC Tennessee’s Volunteers lead the way with a 31-5 record. Vanderbilt wins 26. Florida, Mississippi State, Arkansas, and Mississippi, have +20 win seasons. Mid-majors Davidson, 29-7, Xavier, 30-7, and Butler, 30-4,can flat out play. Massachusetts, 25-11, will run, run, run. Gonzaga, 25-8, and St. Mary’s, 25-7, will be fun to play and tough outs. And, let’s not forget the ladies. Tennessee, 36-2, tops Stanford, 35-4, to win another National Championship.
