It plays exactly like the player card version.
Game flow is still controlled by the ratings on the team card and the deck of 100 Factor Cards. Assume Los Angeles (L) 2010 is on offense, Boston 2010 is on defense. The Factor Card you flipped in the Select Shooter Sequence states Center - 14 (Offense). Since this is team game
the reference to the Center is ignored and you only use 14 (Offense). The 14 falls with LA's Shot ratings (Shot: 12/15±), so they may attempt a shot, specifically a 3FG attempt. Note: as in the player card version, the color of the Factor Card is not used in the Select Shooter Sequence. It is referenced when attempting a shot. If that Factor Card had stated Center - 12 (or less) LA would have would have attempted a 2FG. If the card had stated Center - 13, they would have attempted a 3FG. If the card had stated Center - 15 they may, or may not have attempted a 3FG because of the ±. Note: a Shot Rating number followed by a ± requires an additional Factor Card to determine if the shot is attempted or the ball is passed. If the card stated Center - 16 (or greater), they would have passed the ball and continued the Select Shooter Sequence. To attempt the shot the next Factor Card is turned over. That Factor Card will tell you if the shot result comes from the offensive team card (black) or defensive team card (red). If the Play Result number (under Offense) on that card is equal to or less than a black 35 Los Angeles would make the 3-point shot attempt. If the play result number was from a red Factor Card and 34 (or greater), the result would have come from Boston’s defense and the shot would have been missed. If the shot is made an Assist Sequence follows, if the shot is missed a Rebound Sequence follows. If a foul, turnover
or other play result had occurred a following sequence determines the results of that event. As with the player card version, when you get more comfortable with the basics of CLASSIC COLLEGE & PRO BASKETBALL™ you can add advance options of your choosing.
